I spoke this past weekend about long-term care -- a topic of particular concern to many governors given the role of Medicaid in its financing -- at the National Governors Association Winter Meeting. CBO has done important work on long-term care; see for example the study authored by Stuart Hagen of our Health and Human Resources Division in 2004.
