I was pleased to have the opportunity last week to speak with the Healthcare Leadership Council, a group of leaders from hospitals, health plans, pharmaceutical companies, academic health centers, biotech firms, and other parts of the health care system. In my remarks, I summarized our approach to policy analysis, our projections of federal spending for health care, and key types of federal health care policies that we are studying.
