CBO will publish a summary of its annual Budget and Economic Outlook report at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, on the agency’s website. The brief summary will include updated budget and economic projections spanning the period from 2016 to 2026. The complete report, including baseline tables and supplemental data, will be released the following week on Monday, January 25, at 2 p.m. on the agency’s website. When the full report is released, CBO will be able to discuss its projections in more detail. CBO typically releases its updated budget and economic projections in late January but is releasing the summary of the report early this year to aid the Congress in its work on the forthcoming budget resolution.
CBO’s most recent economic and budget projections can be found in An Update to the Budget and Economic Outlook: 2015 to 2025, which was released last August.
